World leaders and other public figures have often been the inspiration for films. The film Aandhi was loosely based on the life of the late Indira Gandhi. And now a TV show is being planned on the Iron lady’s life. A channel, along with producer Gautam Adhikari and writer Atul Tiwari (The Legend of Bhagat Singh
and Mission Kashmir) is working on the project. The team has penned 10 episodes after a thorough research on Mrs Gandhi, and are now awaiting a green signal from Congress leader Sonia Gandhi. The show is slated to launch sometime in November and is touted to be the channel’s biggest project ever.
