OSN Selects ATEME's TITAN for New Premium Video-on-Demand Service

PARIS – May 27, 2014 – ATEME, a global leader in advanced video compression solutions for the broadcast industry, today announced that OSN has selected ATEME’s TITAN software transcoding solution to encode premium content for Video-on-Demand (VOD), in support of a new high-end VOD service launched this spring.

TITAN KFE is a multi-codec/multi-format file-based video transcoding software solution. TITAN KFE maximizes the video quality and bandwidth efficiency of content for delivery to television, mobile and Internet. It can transcode any mezzanine file to MPEG-2, H.264 and HEVC for VOD, push-VOD, catch-up TV and adaptive streaming services.
TITAN KFE is now in production in the Dubai Media City headquarters of OSN in the United Arab Emirates.
