Yes i think you can get Ku band(as recommended dish size is 75 cm), but it has only one channel i.e, Dawn News English tests.

For C band the recommended dish diameter is about 170cm, so you cannot receive c band signal.

Select 38 deg east from footprint website below for Paksat1R.

Further reference:
Paksat 1R at 38.0°E - LyngSat
http://satbeams.com/footprints

c band and ku band channels are same or different.

In Paksat there are many c band channels but one ku band channel(click on the link lyngsat),

for receiving C band you require a C band Lnbf and larger dish about 6 feet in diameter with focal length/diameter ratio of 0.32 to 0.48, this F/D ratio is based on feed horn and lnb design. So the above values are for C band lnb available in market.

C band channels and Ku band channels are same, but the carrier wave of the channel data is at different frequency ranges. A frequency range is called as band.

L band 1 to 2 GHz
S band 2 to 4 GHz
C band 4 to 8 GHz
X band 8 to 12 GHz
Ku band 12 to 18 GHz
K band 18 to 26.5 GHz
Ka band 26.5 to 40 GHz
Q band 30 to 50 GHz
U band 40 to 60 GHz
V band 50 to 75 GHz
E band 60 to 90 GHz
W band 75 to 110 GHz
F band 90 to 140 GHz
D band 110 to 170 GHz

C-Band Variations Around The World
Band Transmit Frequency(GHz) Receive Frequency(GHz)
Standard C-Band 5.850–6.425 3.625–4.200
Extended C-Band 6.425–6.725 3.400–3.625
INSAT / Super-Extended C-Band 6.725–7.025 4.500–4.800
Russian C-Band 5.975–6.475 3.650–4.150
LMI C-Band 5.7250–6.025 3.700–4.000

We can calculate the wavelength by using the formula speed of light = frequency of required EM wave x wavelength of the required electromagnetic wave.

for example consider a frequency of 4Ghz.

speed of light= 3x10^8 m/s

3x10^8m/s = 4x10^9 Hz x wavelength
wavelength = 3x10^8 / 4x10^9 Hz
= 0.075 m
= 7.5 cm

so in order to get c band or any band the reflector dish should be many times this wavelength i.e 7.5cm( in this example).

for ku band the wave length is 2.5 cm at 12 Ghz that's why it requires small dish.

and also the mesh hole for dish reflector metal is 1/10th of the wave length so to receive ku band in mesh dish, the holes in mesh should have a diameter of 0.2cm.

I tried in Delhi but failed plz help (Ku band)

what is your dish size? what problem you faced?

I had received pak sat ku band on my 60 cm dishtv dish antenna in j&k last month but there was no tv channels available there and only one radio channel lahore was aviliable there

The signals I got at that time was about 90 & 80 %

In J&K the signal is strong,Yes there are no channels, now one test channel is there i think, I think its not worth to point the ku band dish at Paksat 1R. But just for hobby or for experimenting purpose or some may require that specific single channel(s) those people can try it.

Edit: sorry mesh hole at last is 0.2cm or 2mm, my mistake.
