Parachuri flays 'multiplex dialogues'

In a great sense, Parachuri Venkateswara Rao echoes the feelings of millions of Telugu movie-goers when he says that the dialogues in today's films are lacking that edge which the dialogues from earlier films had.

In an interview to a popular vernacular daily, the celebrated writer, who was felicitated recently on the completion of 333 films in partnership with his brother, said that all that we are listening these days is "multiplex dialogues." He criticised the lack of understanding among today's writers.

Gopalakrishna chipped in with his views too. Many one-liners penned by them in the past became such hits because they possessed power though they were simple to listen
