Parambariya Maruthuvam on Zee Tamizh completes 500 episodes, popularity prompts Sun TV to launch "Naatu Maruthuvam"
Chennai : The most favourable morning show on Zee Tamizh which is being aired everyday at 8:30 AM 'Parambariya Maruthuvam' successfully crossed its 500th episode recently.
Paarmpariya Maruthuvam showcases the viewers the significance of our traditional medicines.
The show is about practically explaining and showing the remedies for diseases using natural products and ingredients used in day to day life.
The show is hosted by well known herbs specialist Doctor Rajamaanikkam, a renowned Siddha practitioner and Astrologer.
He will discuss about the medicine which he is going to prepare that day by detailing the goodness of the medicine and its positivity on human body. He also explains the Medicinal values of natural products that are abundantly available around us.
His daily brief on the traditional ancient medicines and their importance helps the viewers to know how to prepare traditional medicines of Tamilnadu and usage of those medicines, which are popularly called as "Paati Vaithiyam" (means Granny's Medicines)
Paarampariya Maruthuvam is one among the top rated show of Zee Tamizh, This show became very popular among the TN viewers, particularly females as the program was very informative for them in ensuring the wellbeing of their family members.

The growing popularity and ratings of ''Paarampariya Maruthuvam'' prompted the market leader Sun TV to add a similar segment in its morning line-up "Suriya Vanakkam" in which the newly inserted segment was titled as "Naatu Maruthuvam" (means Country Medicines) with another Siddha medicine practitioner "Sakthi Subramanyam" from 10th November onwards in the same time band between 8:30 to 9:00 AM.
