Guys I have created a petition to request DTH service providers to remove the watermark or make it non static to prevent potential risk of burn-in.

As OLED TVs are being more widely adopted and their sales increasing steadily in India. DTH service providers should take a step towards resolving the issue with their static Watermark which is a great and ensured cause for burn in.

Here is the link to petition:

Thanking you,

It does if we watch same channel all the time. But no one does that. We do switch channels be it after few hours. As we switch through different channels the pixels relax and hence do not get burn-in. But the watermark remains static and leads to burn-in as no matter what channel we watch that logo remains there.

It does as the logo is static no matter what channel we change through-out the day the brand logo remains there. And yes when same logo is there static for hours and hours through the day. It adds up and leads to burn in. On avg TV in Indian household runs for good 12hrs+. As always some one or the other are watching it. Not like only one or two people watch TV while few hours at home. All the members of the family mom dad siblings grandparents etc. So yeah TV is on all the time in most homes. And even though we change channels the brand logo remains there on a corner static without moving. And that causes burn-in for sure.

Don't know about OLED but Reliance BIG TV logo on Videocon TV was visible even if it's turned off 😁✌️
Yes dear this is a truth about big tv ,d2H don’t know
