(Pics) TCCL supplied their STB - disconnected Jak Cable

One of my Uncle, who lives in North Chennai was having Jak Cable till now, 2 days back their LCO came and disconnected their Jak Cable and supplied this TCCL STB.... :k

The STB is too compact and has a usb slot for unlimited recording. The remote too has the recording buttons. The user manual says that the recording feature will be activated via a software update. The STB doesnt really have any known manufacturer label except that it says "made in china" :lol

Its not yet installed and looks like it will be done after March 1st. Pls bear with the images as it was taken from a mobile camera as i didnt have a digicam when i visited them :shy

TCCL is getting technology support from Verimatrix. The other MSO Aadhar Digital Vision (also from LCOs) is also using Verimatrix.
