After running for a little more than three
months, TV show Piya Basanti Re will go off air
on December 12.
Alan Kapoor, who plays the protagonist, says, "I
am not sure about the reason, but we shot the
last episode a few days ago. It was a good
show, so yes, we were shocked when we heard
it was going off air. I have been part of many
shows, but this one is very close to my heart
and it pains me to know that I won't be seeing
it on screen after a week."
Khushiyon Ki Gullak Aashi will end on December 6, Piya Basanti Re, which features Adaa Khan and Alan Kapoor as the lead couple, will breathe its last on December 12. Adaa confirms, "The show is number two on the channel and yet is being
shut abruptly.They informed us that the shoot
will wrap up in four days."
Rumour also has it that another show titled
Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne, which has Barkha
Bisht as the protagonist, will also end along
with Piya Basanti Re .
