Seeking Help Planning for new ADTV Box HD. Is it ok? Give suggestions.

Its common problem in Xtreme technician will do their best, my brother Xtreme box also having same problem after technician visit all problem solved, Xstreme box having one year warranty so you can complaint for new box brother.

They did not fix mine. I am still getting that problem. Also even if the box is covered under warranty, they still ask for technician charge. I have paid once. Only 1st month is free. So Their normal HD box is better.

If you look at the first post he asked in a different thread. I asked him to go for cable instead of DTH. No On Demand service can match what local cable when it comes to regional content.

Thank you all. I have considered your suggestions. There is a repair work is going on in my terrace. After that I am going to install it may be.
Either Airtel or change to better box in d2h.

Infact my experience is exact reverse, never faced any issue. Xstream box is excellent in all aspects...never experienced long booting time, hanging or blank screen. I have had super smooth ride with great features, user interface, channels, apps, picture / audio quality etc. Just that very rarely it reboots on its own while watching tv but then all products have some cons and nothing is perfect

Also, what are the names of Bengali movie channels available in sun direct at present?
What is the monthly charge of Bengali MOD in Tata Sky & ADTV?
One more query can I buy DTH without ODU? ODU is outdoor unit. I already have an old sun antenna.

Wont believe that engineer can do anything on hanging box problem. But your relative maybe exception for that.

Main demerit is fav channels... although both tatasky binge+ and xtreme box remote don't have fav button..accessing fav channels in airtel is more difficult due to no new lcn like binge+ which assigns dedicated lcn from 900

Still I find hybrid boxes as demerits...bootup time is more than a minute, channel switching laggy than normal hd box and most important no fav button in the remote..
Personally for any person I would suggest better buy a dedicated streaming device like mi box or Amazon firestick lite and buy a normal hd box..Atleast for some days or in future one can completely remove the hybrid box there by avoiding necessary ncf and use the streaming device to watch channels and web content
