WI previously posted on how to extract the recordings from pendrive in Dish TV

But this post is about how to play or conver
What i have come to know so far
> after recovery format pendrive with Quick format box unchecked , to avoid files from previous recording comming up if you want to record again and recover from same pendrive
> .swf file do not appear if you have recorded just for few minutes
> .swf is mpeg transport stream , so you can open it with programs which support .ts files
> .swf files contain all the audio streams of the channel recorded i.e. normal , 5.1 , all languages
Programs which are able to work with it
[Free] WinFF -- can play files easily , just using it is trickey
[Paid] WonderFox Video Converter Factory Pro - it can convert to other formats
[Free] Avidemux - it can also do someting with it
[Free] DGMPGDec - it can easily extract audio but gives no video header error while extraction video
DeMuxers - try which support .ts & tell if any of them works
DVB/HDTV tools - these can also work & tell if any of them works
I will update this post on how to use WinFF , DGMPGDec
