Please Help me my set box going off when i plug Dish Antenna cable.

Forum members please help me because 4 days before i shift my set top box in next room. When i insert Dish Antenna Cable in Set top box its going off. When i put down Dish Antenna Cable its on. Then i think it i problem cause may be my set top is old.

Yesterday I bought New Set top box. When i plug Dish Antenna Cable in New Set top box it also give same problem. It's Switch Off.

Please suggest what i can do.... please help me.
 
Your cable which comes from the LNB to your Receiver is most probably corrupted or in short form 'short circuit' which been either bcuz water flown in the cable or a cut in it. Just check your cable carefully or you can take another short cable to check whether it's the fault of cable or your STB. :k
 
Check the co-exial cable which is used for connecting dish to box ,whethere any joint in cable or there may touch the mesh wire to the centre wire .
