‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is gearing up for a five-year-leap after which Ashnoor Kaur who is currently playing Naitik and Akshara’s daughter Naira will bid good bye to the show.
The hunt for the new groen-up Naira began few weeks ago, and now we hear that makers have zeroed on ‘Begusarai’ actress Shivangi Joshi.
Shivangi who played the female lead of Poonam in ‘Begusarai’ will step into Ashnoor’s shoe as the grown up Naira.
Talking to an entertainment portal Shivangi said, “I did give an audition for the role, but have received no confirmation as yet. So, I can’t really comment much on this.”
Apparently, makers wanted to cast a fresh face, who should look older than Ashnoor, but younger to Rohan who plays Akshara’s son Naksh on the show.
