The season the channel will show 116 live Premier League fixtures and launch Sky Sports 5as a new home for European football featuring those teams in the Champions League including the long-awaited return of Liverpool to the world's premier club football event.
"For the first time, Sky Sports viewers can download and enjoy some of the best content dedicated to their team, whenever they want," commented Sky Sports head of football, Gary Hughes.
