Mediaproxy announced that India's premium and leading DTH platform Tata Sky has selected LogServer IP as its next generation logging and monitoring platform.

A total of 400 channels will be recorded at its state-of-the-art New Delhi based facility.

The system will be installed and supported by Ideal Systems, Mediaproxy's dedicated partner for over 10 years.

Erik Otto, CEO at Mediaproxy, notes, "Tata Sky has pioneered multiple services on the DTH platform in India, including the recording facility and established itself as the
premium provider across geographic and social strata with
local and mobile platforms. We are excited to be working with Tata Sky's talented group of engineers to support their compliance requirements."

The highly reliable LogServer IP platform provides continuous SD and HD multi-channel recording and live monitoring of video, audio and real-time meta-data sources.
Contents may be reviewed and managed 'long after the event' for legal and commercial compliance requirements and competitive analysis.

Mediaproxy's leading edge user
interfaces allow for extensive search, export and content
retrieval across multiple distributed servers from various devices and platforms.

LogServer greatly enhances content
management and QoS whilst lowering overall operational costs.
