Tamil Entertainment channel Raj TV extends its support for the cause of empowering women in the month of Women’s day with various activities to celebrate the womanhood.
The Channel has planned its programming line-up to match with the mood of the occasion and announced a month long special line-up of programs and events with the theme laced with the motive to stand by the women and empower them to reach greater heights.
With this motive, Raj TV has lined-up Women Special moves that support and guide them in meet the modern day challenges. The Women’s Special movies will be aired every day at 1:30 PM (Monday to Saturday) throughout the month of March 2017.
Raj TV’s Womens Achivers Awards:
Woman of Substance, a woman of strength; She has reached great heights, yet rooted she stands. A Woman of courage, a woman of great stature – Raj TV’s Women Achievers Awards felicitates the face of today and the future.
The Award function that will be held on 4 March will acknowledge and honour Ms. Sowmya Simhan for her Social Service, Dr. Priya Ramachandran for her contribution in field of Medicine, Ms. Sujatha Natarajan for her Entrepreneurship skills, Ms. Smile Vidhya for her Fine Arts Skills, Ms. Judith Retz for her service towards filed of Education and Dr Deepa Hariharan for the Research.
The Guest of Honour of Raj TV’s Women Achievers Awards are Maria Zeena, Neerja Malik, Sukashini Manirathnam, Gowthami, James Vasandhan and A.L.Vijay.
The event will be conducted at Kriyates, OMR, Thoraippaakkam at Chennai on 4 March – 6:00 PM onwards. Devi Neithiyar and TVG’s AIMA will play the music and Athma Academy of Dance will be performing in the event. The event is conducted by first copy productions.
