As per the latest reports making rounds in Tollywood, Telugu actor and Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan is set to try his luck in the electronic media business and is also keen to buy a couple of existing channels in the Telugu media Industry soon. He is also reportedly planning to start a new TV channel if the negotiations fail with the existing ones or will buy little lesser-known ones and develop them for their movies soon.

No, actually he is tring to acquire Maha News channel and it is old news.
The news is come today. I don't know about it earlier.

And as per sources apart from this channel, he is also said to be planning to acquire a couple of more entertainment channels, details of which are not yet known.

He cannot buy or start any entertainment channels before the cooling off period expires. He's is the shareholder Maa TV (NOW Star Maa) and their agreements forbid them launching any competition... Thats why their consortium is investing in all other businesses apart from TV... ie., Kerala Blasters in ISL, Tamil Thalaivas in PKL etc... Surely once the cooling period expires, Allu Aravind is keen to enter entertainment businesses as it has upside to promote and support his OTT business.

Its gonna be a news channel..as it's because old politics tricks..to trick people into believing..first u need to trick the media..how to trick the media..by buying it..Pawan is in jenasena, his father is also into politics..more likely, he will also come into politics..so he bought stake in maha tv..so he can propogate his family politics news white washed in that channel..now launching his own channel
