  • One of the Note 8 devices (likely pro) will come with a 25x zoom (digital/hybrid, though digital looks much more likely)
  • Note 8 Pro can capture images at a resolution ~8K

Both Redmi Note8 and Note8Pro Will Have Mediatek Helio G90 series SOCs.
I'm hearing both Note 8 and Pro will come with the G90t, only in China. Difference will be in the cameras. But I'll still wait for 29th

  • On August 29 Redmi will also launch Redmi TV.
  • Redmi Note 8 Pro will come with Helio PG90T processor.
Ahead of the launch Redmi has also confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 Pro will be powered by MediaTek Helio G90T processor. Yes, no Snapdragon processor for Redmi Note phone this time. The company has also confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 Pro will be the company' 64MP camera phone.
Similar to past renders the new renders also don't show rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. This clearly suggests that the Redmi Note 8 Pro, as well as the Redmi Note 8, will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. This is for the first time that a Redmi Note phone will come with in-screen fingerprint sensor. Like the Redmi K20 series the upcoming Redmi Note 8 series is also expected include 7th gen fingerprint sensor.

Xiaomi is shooting their foot themselves by not launching a snapdragon phone. Custom ROMs for mediatek phones aren't very easily found because of mediatek reluctance to release sources...
