Why news channels? Rahul Shivshankar is already shouting in HD (Anjana Om Kashyap as well, for Aaj Tak HD). We do not need Faye D'Souza in HD. Fortunately Arnab has never shouted in HD yet, though Republic HD may come within five years or so.

As I have said repeatedly, Zoom HD is much more desperately required. Viacom18 is currently the only network to have HD music channels in any language. However, Times can launch The Holiday as a channel/service as well, without this being a dummy name (like Times Now 2, 3, 4, etc. or ET Now 5, 6, 7, etc.).

The Holiday is a web series by Times Network. Trademark registration ain't always for channels, it can be for range of things.

Also Surya Bhojpuri will most likely take place of Surya Cinema which has not been able to find audience owing to poor film library, presentation, distribution etc.

I forgot about Zoom. Agree, it desperately needs HD fees. Meanwhile Faye D'Souza resigned from Mirror Now.

We cannot realistically have a channel called Holiday.
