Remote buttons not working

All of a sudden the Menu, Guide & My Account buttons don't seem to work on my Tru HD box, Exit works well, the remote seems fine and batteries are ok, all other buttons work but whenever I press the menu button the screen refreshes and command seems to go through and I see the blue info bar at the bottom but the menu or guide no longer loads.

I am having to change channels using the up down arrow keys.

Can anyone assist please

Update: the problem resolved on its own but any inputs will be helpful for any such future experience, Thanks

The problem has come back again, remote lags, it works at its will seems as if not all commands are going to the stb, I have tried another new remote with new batteries. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Looks like an issue with the STB :dodgy

Yes seems so, factory settings and forced software update done and no joy, it is little better after software upgrade and reboot but still the problem exists
