Diljit Dosanjh made his Hindi television debut, judging Colors’ ‘Rising Star’, and now as its second season is preparing to launch, it is confirmed that Dosanjh will be returning with co-judges Shankar Mahadevan and Monali Thakur.

Dosanjh confirmed to Mirror, saying, “Yes, I will be a part of Rising Star again. Last year I had a blast doing the show which threw up so many budding talents. The search for the next great voice is what has urged me to take this up in the next season as well.” Mirror also reports that the second season will be hosted by television actor Ravi Dubey and child artist Parth Dhamija.

‘Rising Star’ will replace the current season of ‘Big Boss 11’ next year.
