The organisers should pay 2L royalty fee for each event to Ilayaraaja sir for usage of his songs.

This is not correct. Then why you are getting salary for composition. By that way you already sold your property. It is like a mason asking the house owner to give him a rent to stay in the house since the house was built by the mason.

Now time to TV and radio channels to stop broadcasting his songs. I am a fan of his songs but tbis hurts.

Though Ilayaraja is a great composer, his attitude is not at all convincing. He seems inferior at heart. I still remember his jealous speech over A.R.Rehman in one of the functions. These things will only cause damage to his otherwise good music reputation!!

He did something similar with SP Balasubrahmanyam when SPB was on a concert tour in USA few years ago. Now SPB doesn't sing Ilayaraja's songs in concerts anymore
