Sony Pictures Networks’ family comedy entertainment channel SAB TV is set to launch a new romantic sitcom, ‘Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle’.

Premiering on 18 January, the show will fill in the Monday–Saturday 10.30 pm slot. Produced by Optimystix, ‘Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle’ is a love triangle set in a hospital.

The show presents a fresh concept of a love clash between two men, Nathu Nakabandi (Ali Asgar) and Dr Ranbeer (Ather Habib), for the pretty Dr Diya (Krishna Gokani).

SAB TV senior EVP and business head Anooj Kapoor said, “We are excited about our new comedy show ‘Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle’.

The story revolves around how the two male leads vie for the leading lady’s attention; every attempt made by any of the two to woo her is comically scuttled by the other.

The setting is perfect for a quintessential romantic comedy.

SAB and Optimystix have had a very fruitful relationship for several years and we are fondly hoping to deliver another successful show together.”

Optimystix Entertainment India MD and chief creative officer Vipul D Shah added, “Optimystix Entertainment India and Sony SAB have shared a very successful partnership, creating some of the most entertaining shows like ‘Sajan Re Jhooth Mat Bolo’, ‘Pappad Pol’, ‘Baalveer’, ‘Sab Ke Anokhe Awards’ etc.

And now it’s time for yet another fun ride with our new comedy show, ‘Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle’, which will add a new feather in this successful partnership.”
