As per my sources, Sun no longer interested in Assam.

The have interest only in following States:

1. Tamil Nadu
2. Andhra Pradesh
3. Telangana
4. Karnataka
5. Kerala
6. West Bengal
7. Maharashtra
8. Gujarat
9. Punjab

Only these 9 states.

We do expect some Assamese channels to be added but just with DD -North East, DD -Kisan, News Live & Nepal 1 they cant survive. They even did not provide a replacement channel for Focus NE removal.
