Notable changes:
Change in Genre list in Guide: (News is separate and Knowledge and Kids clubbed now)

Entertainment, Movies, News now have sub-menus like English, Hindi and regional

HD channels now listed in EPG on SD STB

Master Reset option added in system settings
.


Another change which i like the most is the listing time of guide. For eg. if u select Guide--->News--->English, it lists the english news channels instantly. Earlier it would take few seconds to load the list.

after this update how about picture and audio quality in tatasky sd. anybody can tell me about this. Because for sometime now in so many channels pixellation are there.

I don't have TS SD, so can't tell you about effect of this update. But I don't think software update will effect PQ untill unless they are changing compression level or compression tech.
In my TS + HD box , I watched Wanted movie in Movies OK (SD)channel & also watched Priest movie in Sony PIX (SD).
I feel PQ is very good. Also Movies Now (SD) is in good quality. No pixelation issues in these channels.
I can't say this for all channels, as I hardly watched any other SD channel now a days.

TATA Sky+ [Only DVR Box by TATA Sky which is now discontinued] too have same look but sadly TATA Sky team not updating its software from years...
