can anyone list SD CHANNELS that can give dolby pro logic surround in home theatre reciver systems

according to me not posible in sd channels, dth providers giving dd+ in hd channels only

Dishtv recently tested.. 5.1 DD Surround Sound on SD channel..(Z Etc Bollywood )..

@thread starter: no point in this. the majority of SD users dont have a separate audio processing unit and so there is no point wasting bandwidth on this. However, the situation may be different for HD users, who are willing to pay more for video quality, they might also have a home theatre connected. Your case is valid, but unless there is considerable market for such things, no one will care.
 
Thread is useful for people like us who convert stereo sound to 5.1 using home theater reciever

I'm using ONKYO before the entry of HD channels .... It converts using DOLBY PROLOGIC MOVIE , MUSIC, AND DTS NEO MUSIC, DTS NEO 6 CINEMA

WHEN Z CINEMA HD AND AND PICTURES HD NOT GIVING 5.1 ... YOU SHOULD USE THESE DOLBY AND DTS DECODERS TO CONVERT THEM INTO 5.1
 
Awesome news and a very useful thread.

It's high time DTH providers take sound seriously. Dolby ProLogic is move in right direction.
