Set Top Box hanged after 15 min

Dear Experts,

My DishTV True HD set top box gets hang after 15-20 min of viewing. Anyone had similar issue?

Set Top Box Details:

STB Model – D-6000 HD
Model Name - Woojeon Handan Korea
Firmware version: V46.08-4.2E8

Any suggestion?

Do a factory reset,If problem is not resolved then try to download the software and try again.
If problem persist...repeat the same but before that remove the adapter from power and kept out of supply for 20 minutes and then try...

Thanks for the advise. I will try it and update the result. BTW how to do a factory reset? I have no idea to do the same. I will search the forums but if anybody knows please reply here.

Hi,

I tried to reset the STB to factory setting but it stuck on warning page. Screen shot attached. I pressed the RED button several times but no luck. Any idea?

Can I change the STB box and use the same VC ? Will it work?

I think , it is happened due to over heating of some components.

hummm... it started to happen recently... working perfectly fine for last 2 years.... any idea if I can switch the STB box without changing the VC?

yes you can paired your vc with other stb box all days and package remains same
but one condition the dealer or distributor ho has recharged this vc will paird it

every 5 minutes restarting
could able to watch eveything
even remote as well not working properly wallwall


what could be the problem ????
