MUMBAI: US entertainment star Snoop Dogg has announced that he and US cable network HBO have partnered to develop a new series to be directed and executive produced by Allen Hughes. Dogg’s longtime manager, Ted Chung of Stampede Management, is set to executive produce alongside him and Rodney Barnes who has been tapped to write the series.
Rodney Barnes is represented by Paradigm and Principato-Young. Snoop Dogg and Allen Hughes are represented by WME.
Set in early 80’s Los Angeles, the drama is about a family whose seemingly idyllic life is turned upside down by the collision of their community and American politics
