: Digital music network Songdew.com has extended the brand to TV broadcasting with the launch of a free to air (FTA) music channel Songdew TV.
The channel is currently available on direct to home (DTH) platform Videocon d2h as a 24-hour active service. It has also tied-up with over the top (OTT) platform YuppTV which will allow it to reach the Indian diaspora globally.
The channel will showcase the best of independent music, live acts from across the country.
Songdew TV’s programming will comprise of 50% Hindi, 30% English and 20% regional content. The channel will predominantly target Hindi and English speaking audience whereas for the regional content it will focus on markets such as Punjab, Bengal, and Maharashtra.
