But without Viacom owned brands/channels Network 18 has only news channels. Disney has 50% stakes in History and FYI TV internationally. Previously History TV was operated in India by Fox. So if current structure breaks, then History channels may go back to Star. And Viacom won't let Colors channels to go from them. So how this deal do good for Sony?

Bro history TV 18 and FYI tv18 are JV between NETWORK 18 and A+ E NETWORK
Disney doesn't own completely A+E network.
Only owns 50% stake.
Viacom has felt comfortable to do business with network 18 so even allowed sell of 1% stake to Network 18 in 2018.
Sony has 2 options according to some media source to purchase stake or merge
If at all purchasing stake. I don't know properly what is reliance industry shares in Network 18.
If at all merge. Sony pictures India will become Sony 18 just like Viacom 18.
And then Network 18 will bring 3 subdivision
1. Tv18 ( full shares )
2. Viacom 18 (51%)
3. Sony 18 ( TBD )

It will get access to Colors Cineplex, it will again get Jhalak and Bigg Boss rights, plus international content like Suits, B99, Big Bang Theory will be shared between AXN and Colors Infinity/Comedy Central

I don't think so. Sony would be buying stakes in Network 18 and not in Viacom18. Sony may get Indian soap opera and sitcoms rights by colors but not ViacomCBS shows.
But Sony and tv18 and Viacom will be available in one package.

On global level Viacom-CBS next goal is Sony only so it will try to buy it

They won't get BiggBoss rights(ownership) as it is not a Viacom or Reliance owned property.

Earlier Fox- Star was operated History TV in India. Now Star India can easily took back the channel with Disney's power.
