Sony should negotiate for major stake (60%) to invest in quality content.

Yes, they should receive a higher percentage of shares similar to how RIL-Viacom secured 64% in the Jiostar entity. Additionally they must ensure that the CEO or chairperson is appointed by them, not by Zee (Punit Goenka). Only under these conditions should they proceed with merger discussions.

If these points are made clear from the outset, i believe the merger process will face fewer complications.

While these matters may seem distant, I think if Zee is approaching them again at this stage, they should start reconsidering their merger decision with Zee.

Bro but there is no official statement pls wait for Zee exchange fillings

No one said its official statement but yes there is a possibility and thats what we are discussing here. Since this thread is about the Zee-Sony merger, we can always discuss their future based on assumptions or unconfirmed articles. Nowhere are we claiming that they are already in talks for a merger or that the merger is official. This is just a discussion based on assumptions and unconfirmed articles not an official confirmation.

firstly Sony's its own prime channel Sony tv is a big flop channel currently they have literally have ZERO content for weekdays rather then looking for merger they should look into create good content for its channel.... their all reality shows have lost its charm and have become stale and boring

Np Singh should be chairman of this entity.

Sony is doing revamp , I am confident that Sony tv will do good again as it climbed from 60 grp to 89 GRP.
