And 1sports Is typical 1sports channel after showed last ODI match today last 3rd ODI match blackout on 1sports 😂😂😂😂

DD Sports deserves this hockey Rights too and airing matches in World class PQ. they are acquires every sports Rights for huge money. they even deserve tagine sirf DD pe dikhega and DD Sports Home of Sports.

DD Sports would have surely tried to get the rights either on exclusive or sharing basis before start of the series but maybe as negotiations between 1Sports and West Indies Cricket Board might b ongoing at that point (If Fancode had just streaming rights) hence DD Sports won't have been able to get exclusive rights and once 1Sports would have got the rights then signing contractual obligations for sharing feed would have caused delay in series getting aired on DD Sports.

Incase Fancode had TV rights and sold same to 1Sports then too DD Sports would have got access to the feed with some delay.

For such situations government should include a new rule in the law that irrespective of negotiations which go on for TV rights of a series between 2 parties when beginning of the series is nearby or series has started , DD Sports should b provided access to the feed before start of the series leaving sharing pact agreement to b signed later

No buddy. Private Sports broadcasters will also have much more variety of sporting events including many popular ones with them. DD Sports 2.0 will just air some major sports properties if private broadcasters do not get acquire rights for it, that too mostly those where Indian Players r participating

Law mandates that if private sports broadcasters have rights of events of national importance then same needs to b shared with DD Sports . If DD Sports buys exclusive rights of some sports event then private broadcasters cannot object to it
