If private broadcasters gets 80% Revenue share, DD never aired just for 20 to 25% Revenue any sports as National importance always. Anyway private broadcasters suffer more loss.
they may argue that if the sporting events are of national importance, DD can share the cost during the purchase of the rights (say on a 75:25 or 60:40 ratio) as the BBC does in the UK.
Will forcing sports broadcasters to share telecasts with DD reopen a can of worms?
There needs to be a fine balance between ensuring that the sports broadcaster gets a commercially appropriate fee for its television rights and also manages to reach a wider audience.

I looked for broadcaster of this event
I thought sports18 will show this and Sony sports came out of syllabus.
This time around 22 track and field Indian athletes will take part and this event will lead Indian athletes to Commonwealth Games hope Sony sports promote this event like they do for cricket and football.

Reason being DD Sports got the much needed boost as all the sports events were shifted there and regular programming on DD National was not interrupted. Here r few articles about this

Buddy, This may b wrong information. I am sure DD will share 75% of revenue earned, u can even check info on website of MIB
I don't think MIB website properly update about Revenue scheme
What's problem of DD/PB, they are getting so much revenue from DDFD channel slots Auction. Instead of begging Sports events as National Importance with private broadcasters they can acquire sports events Rights and improve PQ.
