Should Sports Networks have Regional Channels?

It is law of the land to share live feed of gamess of national importance with Door Darshan. And the national importance matches are also choosen by them, not Door Darshan. Any pvt. Broadcaster problem with it should not buy the India rights. Even if future, if Govt declares IPL as matches of national importance, then IPL broadcaster must have to share it.

I do not think any broadcaster getting/anticipating loss with this. Otherwise they would not have bought it at this sky high price.
 
As IPL is not national importance, the tv rights went to sky price and bilateral series is national importance none of the broadcasters going for their rights (ex: WI rights even though india touring to that country). Going forward pvt broadcasters will not give any importance to bilateral series or other country rights, as india matches will shown in DD and Indian viewers not interested in other country matches.
The only way to solve this is , pvt broadcaster start a free channel in DD free dish and telecast the indian matches in that channel rather than sharing it to DD sports, so that pvt broadcaster will get full profit for the price they spent on rights

IPL can also be a national importance tournament if Govt wishes to do so
