So Sony Pictures Sports Network once again today boycott Women's Big Bash League both matches live airing, whole day cricket highlights airing on Sony Six. Some days back some members explains about Star Sports highlights and defending Sony, most of us shouldn't act like biased. Also if Indian broadcasters have Broadcasting Rights then they shouldn't Act like we don't have Viewers and Ad Revenue.

Both are equally bad. Star is way worse. Sony misses some handful of matches. Can't say same about the later.

1 month to go for fifa World Cup and no hd version of sports18 on most of digital platforms neither extra channel launch by sports18 don't know how they manage double header matches match in prime time will they sacrifice daily shows for football by showing on channels like colors infinity, MTV, vh1, color Cineplex, history tv 18 or use sports18 khel and show in SD

Also whole Qatar migrant labor issue, Human rights violation already drawn little negative picture about this years WC and Fifa Corruption.

Same STAR also has Formula E rights but will not show race live unless select channels are free, Regular 1,2,3 are only for highlights, useless. Buying rights and then not showing content live, even channels are free just to show one highlight again and again. So tired of this behavior

For Kolkata people last wc for Messi and cr7 probably and for Brazil fans highest chance so they equally hyped for chandannagar people most of them support France
I think just because t20 wc clashed eve of fifa wc and still current football season not ended still club football lovers not create much buzz wait till one week before start of wc

Because they took a Summer event to Winter. Qatar started doing geopolitical drama by excluding Israel and putting Palestinian Occupied Territories on it's ticketing platform. On top of that there is press censorship in Qatar. Pakistan Army has taken over the job of security guards. Which broadcaster or media house do you think will go and celebrate this? Everyone's waiting for it to get over. FIFA shot itself in the foot by letting a backward hostile country to host it.

Sorry to say this but, what is the relation between Sony not airing matches and Seven airing them? Both are very unrelated.. As matches are on TV by a private broadcaster called FoxTel in Australia.

So, by your logic Star should only put the PL matches shown by Sky Sports? No right? Even now only around 52% of PL matches are in TV in UK.

7 is a FTA broadcaster who shares CA rights with FoxTel a private network. They have jointly acquired them on sharing basis.

IMO Sony did the right thing by avoiding human rights violation. If over 6000 people dies for something that is meant to entertainment. Imagine how upset people gets when one actor or crew member dies in a movie.
