Then how many people do you think will buy Prime subscription if they share it with pvt broadcaster with no pvt broadcast and DD only airing on Free Dish there will be atleast a few thousands who will subscribe to Amazon Prime Video
Streaming audience and tv viewers are different. Do you think people with work will be watching on TV sets instead of a streaming service? Amazon could keep highlights and everything with them. IMO Amazon even now needs to put bold watermarks of Amazon Prime Video exclusive on DD FreeDish broadcast.

Amazon could've sold TV rights to any private players and asked them to promote Amazon Prime heavily. Instead of letting DD get it for free.
in today eng vs aus match , sony keep on showing the ad of amazon prime for ind nz series.
Mostly Amazon could have partner with sony for ind - nz series, just a guess

Anything is better than DD Sports and 1Sports. Just for one reason lack of HD channels.

Anyhow I was watching North East Olympics yesterday on DD Sports. They didn't even had any timer for football matches, lol. The commentary was excellent. But got a headache by listening to half in English and half in Hindi.

I think DD Free Dish have huge subscribers base like Pvt DTH, PB should announce combine bid with Pvt broadcasters for upcoming BCCI Media Rights. Then there is no need of sharing 50/75% Revenue to Private broadcasters.

Combine bid is solution for both Private broadcasters and DD.
If Viacom18 gets BCCI digital rights, then it will show free on Jio cinema.
