Sony Entertainment Television is looking unstoppable from past 5 weeks beginning from the launch week of KBC 2011 and now the channel has recorded highest ever TRPs and come closer to the No.1 channel Star Plus. On the other hand, Star Plus and Colors have lost 15 and 14 GRPs respectively while Zee TV has registered a marginal growth in the week 38 of TAM 2011.
Sony has got the boost of 28 GRPs from KBC, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and Crime Petrol. While KBC has become the top show across Hindi GECs this week, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain has also made it into top 5 list. KBC recorded highest ever ratings for this season on Thursday (6.0 TVR) with Ranbir Kapoor on hot seat.
The top 5 programmes for Week 38 (Sept 11 – 17) are KBC (5.4), Saathiya (5.2), Balika Vadhu (4.4), BALH (4.0), Uttaran (3.8), Pavitra Rishta (3.8).
Star Plus is still holding the No.1 spot but the channel has lost 15 GRPs this week and registered 292 GRPs (last week 307).
Creating a new record and retaining the No.2 spot for the fifth consecutive week, Sony has registered the highest ever TRPs in the week 38 of TAM 2011. The channel has recorded 271 GRPs (last week 243).
At No.3, Colors has recorded 219 GRPs (last week 233 GRPs).
Now a distant No.4 Hindi GEC, Zee TV has recorded 184 points (last week 181).
SAB TV has shown some recovery and added 12 GRPs this week. The channel has recorded 124 GRPs in the week 38 of TAM 2011 (last week 112).
India’s No.6 Hindi GEC Imagine TV recorded 75 GRPs during the week (last week 68).
Star One has recorded 43 GRPs (last week 41) and Sahara One garnered 31 GRPs (last week 31).
