Every suggestion is fine but in today's era when almost all content is produced in HD quality keeping SD channels is not good suggestion . Everyone want atleast HD quality now.. Broadcaster should discontinue SD channels of which HD channel is present..It will save bandwith of Dth also and DTh and MSO must stop selling SD set top boxes

yes true, but DTH and cable providers must upgrade their device to HD boxes. so asking to permanently discontinue SD channels. I gave SD channels because they can provide channels in lower cost for consumers compared to HD, like for INR 3-7.

They can offer old movies channels in SD format, but channels with latest content in HD only and avoid SD.

It would be great if they would relaunch Star World with a revamped programming by rebranding colors infinity. But our NTOs (which are forcing the subscribers to pay a compulsory NCF) are the major hurdles for English GEC. remember the fate of AXN and HBO. Before implementing NCF, I think these channels had a fanbase in the urban/metro areas.
