Star Network acquires over 500 films from Colors for Rs 400 crore

Star Network has acquired more than 500 films from Colors in a deal believed to be worth Rs 350-400 crore. The films were a part of the acquisition that the general entertainment channel, owned by the Viacom 18 Group, had made for the movie channel it was supposed to launch last year, but eventually deferred it.

This is really a very good news for HD subscriber of Tata(Sky.
Don't worry I will tell you the reason why. :lol
First let me tell you this , I was waiting and hoping for this acquisition. :wlcm
Colors had so many recent good movies (Salman Khan's Dabangg, Ready, Golmaal 3, Ajab prem ki gajab kahani,Thank You etc) and now these movie may come either in Star Gold HD or Star plus HD.

So now HD users of TataSky can now enjoy all these blockbuster movies on HD.
