The fate of four fictions are hanging in the balance in a major revamp being orchestrated by Star Plus.

The channel, which has been losing ground in ratings, is rumoured to be put ‘Ishqbaaaz’, ‘Naamkarann’, ‘Meri Durga’ and ‘Ikyawann’ under the scanner, according to Spotboye. A fifth show, ‘Dil Sambhal Ja Zara’ is already on the verge of going off-air.

Star Plus is said to be gearing up for a makeover later in the year and is working on refreshing its output to lure back viewers. As a part of the plans, the four shows will go off-air by June, with a fresh output being planned for July onwards.

Star Plus is already launching ‘Har Shaakh Pe Ullu Baitha Hai’ in February and will soon launch a remake of Korean show ‘The King’s Daughter’.

This was due to happen.
At this point of time I think sony & colors do have some good shows.
Sony- ye un dino ki baat hai, mere sai, rishta likhe hum naya & crime patrol
Colors- savitri devi, laado 2 & aashique.

Star India’s flagship channel and first general entertainment channel, Star Plus is planning to change its content line up. The channel is prepping up for the revamp which is to be completed by June this year.
According to the sources, the fiction shows have failed to get ratings for the channel leading to the channel planning to bring about a content rejig. Also the channel is pulling the plug on its four prime time shows including Ishqbaaz, Naamkarann, Dil Sambhal Ja Zara, and Ikyawann .

Another source informed that the channel is looking at launching more comedy shows in the coming months. Star is already launching one comedy show, Har Shaakh Pe Ullu Baithaa Hai, which will start from February 26 at 8 pm. The upcoming big properties on Star Plus includes its much-talked about show The King’s Daughters , a remake of a Korean drama. The channel is also planning to bring a spin-off to its one of the most popular shows, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein in order to grab more eyeballs.

As to how successful these show will be, only time will tell.
