Sir, My dish is in the direction of nss6. I can receive dd free dish channels but cannot receive free channels from dish tv even by auto scan or entering frequencies. I think my problem is with my old mpeg2 melbon set top box. sir I want to know the possibility to get ABS free dish channels using this Set Top Box either by auto scan or entering frequency.

Your dish alignment is only for Gsat10 93.5E so please move dish 1 cm left/South and for best signal quality slightly skew lnb .2 mm in anticlockwise. You got all NSS & SES 8 signal easily.
You definetly catch ABS 2 in any Mpeg 2 stb .
Only the game of your dish hunting.

Abs is benefiting only South India & Bengali viewers.
Many more of south channels available abs, rather than that channel's non of channels are useful& that channels are available on DD FREE dish.,Sangeet Marathi is a single Marathi channel available on it in compare to dd free are shows 7 channel in Marathi.
PTC package available on abs. So choice is your.

In India currently yahsat 1A gives more HD channels with FTA mode. In this sat. Bollywood stuff also seen in HD.
Available most in north India, paujab Rajasthan, Maharashtra,have good signal, other state must have big size of dish.

TS uses GSAT 10, i think you meant G Sat 15 at 93.5°East. :shy
