Seeking Help Switching Channels While Recording on HD STB.

Can we switch channnels while recording in HD stb? In SD we can switch to channels in same transponder while recording.

If it's HD DVR then yes & if HD+ then no.

Even if the channel is in the same tp we cant switch? like in SD we can switch channels on same TP while recording.

Problem is hd box got one decoder so not possible coz if we change channel while recording one for current channel and one for recording is required.
Dvr got two decoder so simultaneous decodee. Tata sky dvr are one step ahead with three decoder for one view and two for simultaneous recording .

even Sun Direct HD box has one decoder but you can switch to other channels While recording if they are on same TP.
