I don't understand why a logo is required on the channel screen. I haven't seen a service provider logo on any of the foreign DTH companies. Indian channels already have flashy logos and on-screen graphics. I think DTH logos should be restricted to UI only.

Bro watermark is needed for their identity coz there are many cable operators and even international IPTV providers using feeds from our DTH to provide channels on their platform!! And even they have smart AI-powered software which can blur fingerprint id which appears randomly on screen!

Coming back to the topic at hand, Tata Sky seems to have reasonably new systems in place. They could change the logo without any software update.

Tatasky can place the logo any where on the screen.I just noticed the logo position in Sony six HD is kept lower compared to other HD channels
