tata(sky humax set top box software update

today morning when i was watching star cricket at 4:30 am, an automatic software update happened. sofware version changed to no. 143 from 142. latest version has release date of june 7, no specific changes noted till now.

i too have both hummax sd and kaonmedia hd stb. ya i know hd stb currently has same blue interface of tata sky plus hd. soon it will b updated

can you tell us in today's update what changes you get?

well no changes noted. mr dth, its not necessary software should b updated for changes. update is done after every 5 or 6 months or even earlier just to b sure that the bugs r kileed and software is refreshed as after use for many months software bcomes bugged or in many cases devlops trouble or bcomes slow. though tata sky has best software and unlike others mostly it never devlops bugs if used properly. its also responsibility of customers to use stb proiperly for best results. i even keep wires in top condistion, also each time i blow heavily into holes of stb where wires r inserted as well as in wire hole bfore connecting wire which is why my stb gives best sound and video. keep equipment properly and enjoy. most people keep stb ,wires in bad consition and then say company is bad, reality is that they r real culprits not the company
