India’s leading pay-TV platform Tata Sky and Technicolor are all set of move the manufacturing of set-top boxes in India in a bid to shift a significant portion of Tata Sky’s set-box sourcing to within in the country which furthers Tata Sky’s Make in India ambition.
The long-standing partnership between Technicolor and Tata Sky dating back to 2004 will be further strengthened by the collaboration. The shift in production and supply chain operations will streamline the manufacture and delivery of STBs to consumers in India.
