I hope they stop releasing movies to OTT so soon and stop giving away movies for free specially the hindi dubbed version via youtube channels. They are ruining the theatre business and experience of audience.

The Producer's Councel is also contemplating to not to release films on OTT platforms before ten weeks of theatrical release. This, in turn, may encourage piracy again.

The audience is very clear now bro . So it won't matter . If a film is good then it won't matter whether piracy happened or movie released on OTT within 1 month of theatrical release. Example Pushpa , RRR , KGF 2 . If a film is bad then even if u Push OTT release date to 6 months , then also people won't come to watch it in theatres. Rather they will wait for 6 months . These 2 years of lockdown have changed the people's prospective towards cinema . Either bring something new or GL ( Bye Bye ) .

Film Chamber:

1. New OTT Agreements with 8 Weeks Theatrical Window (All Films)
2. Theatres & Multiplexes approached for F&B Prices Reduction
3. Cost-cutting measures agreement done with MAA
4. Employee wages/conditions almost finalised

Shootings resumption date after 4-5 Daysz

1. Lol, Movies were flopped not because of OTT. They were flops because there was nothing to watch in those movies. They are just blaming OTTs instead of blaming themselves. Karthikeya 2, Bimbisara, and Sita Ramam were recent hits and OTT didn't impact them.

OTTs will start paying less if the movie was a flop and due to that producers will have a loss. Top producers will be able to recover but what about small or new producers? Acharya is the best example. They should leave this matter to the individual producer/movie unit.

We will know the review of the film in just a couple of hours once it has been released through Youtube or social media and no one can stop that. If the movie is average or worse people will wait for the release in OTT. Be it 8 weeks or 15 weeks it doesn't matter at all.

2. F&B price reduction? Audience are going to the theatres to enjoy the movie not to eat. If you make a boring movie and offer popcorn at 20rs still people will ignore the movie.
