→ Manchu Manoj’s engagement on 4th March

Machu Manoj, the youngest son of Mohan Babu, will be getting engaged to his lady love Pranathi Reddy at 10:30 AM on the 4th of March. The event will be take place at a 5 Star hotel in Hyderabad, and the Manchu family has already been sending out invitations to their friends and well wishers from film, political other sections. Both Manoj and Pranathi have been seeing each other since a long time.
A month ago, Mohan Babu announced that both the families accepted Manoj-Pranathi’s love and gave their consent to their marriage. The ceremony will be carried out in typical Hindu traditional style and the couple will exchange the rings after traditional prayers at Mohan Babu’s home. Pranathi Reddy is Manoj’s sister-in-law’s classmate and close friend

→ Brahmi as ‘Rubber Singh’

Satirical films are the flavor of the season. Continuing with the trend, ace comedian Brahmanandam will be seen as ‘Rubber Singh’ in one of his upcoming films. Shooting of this flick will kick start on February 27th in Hyderabad.
Story and other details of the star cast are yet unknown. Debutante Nagendra will be directing this film in which Brahmanandam will be playing a central character. This is Brahmanandam’s major lead role after Jaffa. More details of this flick will soon be revealed.

Review : Paddanandi Premalo Mari – Ok Romance

Young hero Varun Sandesh, has been lying low as some of his previous films failed miserably at the box office. His latest presentation is Paddanandi Premalo Mari which has hit the screens today. Let’s see how it is.

Story:-
Ram(Varun Sandesh) is a college going youth who falls in love with Shravani(Vrithika Sheru). As time passes by, even Shravani accepts his love and when everything seems to going fine, a small misunderstanding develops between the couple and they get separated.

This is also the time when a dreaded goon named Lankapathi(Aravind) lands his eyes on Shravani and decides to marry her. Rest of the story is as to how Ram successfully manages to save her from Lankapathi and also clears his misunderstanding during the course of time.

Plus Points:-
The twists that are showcased in the film are quite interesting. The director has managed to invoke these twists at regular intervals which impress you decently. Varun Sandesh is apt in his role and carries the entire film on his shoulders. He has improved with his dances and has matured as an actor. The twist during the climax featuring the main villain has been executed quite well.
Vrithika Sheru gets a plump role and impresses in her character. She looks nice and shares a decent chemistry with Varun Sandesh. Aravind is pretty good in his negative role and has a bright future. Tagubothu Ramesh and Venu bring in decent laughs. First half of the film is youthful where as the second half has some decent moments. Posani Krishna Murali is apt in his supporting role.

Minus Points:-
Songs in the second half come as roadblocks and upset the flow of the film. Once the twist is revealed in the second half, the movie gets predictable. The episode featuring 30 years Pruthvi in the second half is exaggerated a bit.
Paddanandi Premalo Mari suffers from lack of entertainment. The makers had a lot of scope to invoke enough fun into the script but failed to do so. Some basic good comedy elements could have helped this film even better.

→ Temper collects thumping figures on day one

NTR’s latest action entertainer, Temper has brought him back into the limelight. The film opened to packed houses yesterday and is declared a huge hit. According to the latest update, the film has collected close to 10 crores in the Andhra and Telangana regions on the first day of its release.
The business was rock steady in all the regions as the Puri Jagan flick collected close to 1.38 crores in Guntur and 66 lakhs in West Godavari. The Nizam share came around 2.71 crores and East Godavari and Vizag collected 85 and 71 lakhs respectively. Puri Jagan’s sleek direction and NTR’s emotional performance are the main reasons for this success.

• Temper nears the 10 crore mark in Nizam

NTR’s latest action entertainer, Temper is doing thumping business all over. According to the latest update, the film has collected 9.4 crores in the Nizam area till date.
NTR’s emotional performance as a cop is being hugely appreciated by one and all. Puri Jagan’s stylish taking and a emotional second half are major assets of this film. Temper is also doing excellent business all over AP and overseas. Kajal Aggarwal is the female lead and Bandla Ganesh is the producer.
