MUMBAI: &pictures, India’s premium mass Hindi movie channel, is all set to telecast the ultimate science fiction adventure thriller ‘2012’ on Friday, 4th December at 8 PM! The film with the strongest connect to India, depicts the earth shattering catastrophe that brings an end to the world and conveys the heroic struggle of the survivors. Directed by Roland Emmerich (known for Independence Day & Godzilla), ‘2012’ is packed with electrifying action sequences and groundbreaking special effects. American geologist Adrian Helmsley (Chiwetel Ejiofor) visits astrophysicist Satnam Tsurutani in India and learns that the temperature of the Earth’s core is rapidly increasing. To ensure humanity’s survival, world leaders begin secret preparations by building nine enormous arks, capable of carrying 100,000 people each. When the global disaster finally occurs, failed writer Jackson Curtis (John Cusack) tries to lead his family to safety as the world starts falling apart. Will he be successful?
