TLC is fairing quite poorly in TRP Ratings, may be they have tied up with Dish d2h to help improve viewership. With constant battles between parties, ongoing festival season there is a scope to attract viewers if more people are able to see the content. Let's see if this strategy pays off good dividends.
Recently Living Foodz revamped its programming, this was done not due to rating perspective, they are No. 1 Lifestyle channel on a constant basis. Reason for taking this step was to atrract premium brands to their channel and increase ad revenue. Previously most of their content catered to mass audience but now they have brought in lots of shows with Intetnational Touch which are popular with the elite. This population may constitute a minority but brands spend much more to get their attention owing to high purchasing power they have.
