Mumbai : The wait is finally over! After weeks of
breathtaking performances to the not-so
impressive ones, ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ season 7
finally has a winner, and it is none other than
Ashish Sharma.
Though he was not a trained dancer, he made
ample effort to qualify for the finals with
choreographer Shampa. The duo earned a lot of
appreciation from the judges and viewers. The fan
following of Ashish (popular for his role in
‘Rangrasiya’) just got bigger!
Ashish made it to the finals where he competed
with Shakti Mohan, Mouni Roy, and Karan Tacker.
For the finale, each contestant incorporated four
elements in their routine. Shakti Mohan and her
choreographer Tushar Kalia impressed judges with
some hair-raising flips and turns.
Karan Tackker, who has faced some ups and
downs in this journey, saved his best performance
for the last. The star and his choreographer went
on to perform a spectacular dance routine in the
rain. Mouni Roy with her choreographer set the
stage on fire (quite literally) with her performance.
The finale also showcased special performances by
comedian Bharti Singh, and Sophie Choudry and
Anil Kapoor. Anil worked his charm on the
contestants and joined them on stage to sing and
dance to an entire song.
