This is bigger loss to DTH operators as many of us may just have OTT already in their anroid TV and DD channel and FTA channels from DD free Dish in their inbuilt TV,no need to buy separate free to air set top box

Good move by BIS. But will this cme for sure, as Dth will be more loss due to this move by govt.also if it cms will there be all fta channels will cme in satellite tuners or only limited channels.

I don't think it's going to effect Private Broadcasters and DTH, DD Channels better than private broadcasters:blush2:

After this, DTH operator can think to give the FTA channels free ( Same like as DDFD) for deactivate subscribers to prevent the damage after this decision.

I think Samsung is already providing this feature Samsung TV plus

PB working on Bringing DD Channels everywhere Like Mobile TV, New OTT and now inbuilt satellite tuners in new TV sets. Good future held for DD/PB.

But it's Bad news for Private players, they are spending billions of money acquiring contents and media Rights, even they are paying to get slots in Pay or Free DD Dish.
